The meaning of an urban legend is the false claims of something to get people to believe that something that is not true, but most people fall for these urban legends and fall for things that are not true.

Urban Legends usually start by a person who say they have actually seen this Urban Legend happen even though that this urban legend is not true this is usually how these urban legends start.
Barack Obama
There was and urban legend about Barack Obama being a radical Muslim who refuses to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Which I think could get people believing that he is here to hurt America and not to help America, but its not true that President Obama is a radical Muslim, because he attended a Christian church in Chicago so how could he be a Muslim but attending a Christian church. But personally I think this myth is still believed in some Americans hearts because of some of Presidents Obama’s background, but if he was Muslim wouldn’t his wife and two daughters cover their face’s with those scarves. This is the main reason I know that Obama is not Muslim.
Bill Gates and Microsoft
There is an urban legend saying that Bill Gates, Microsoft, and AOL are giving away cash and merchandise to people who forward and certain e-mail. This urban legend had people really believing it was true this took two pages on the USA Today newspaper. It was all over the news about if you forwarded this certain e-mail message would receive this cash and merchandise.
Rumors Of War
This is about how 911 days separated the September 11 attacks and the 2004 train bombings in Madrid, Spain which is very odd. Terrorist were planning to strike America again on June eleventh 2004 again which is false because they did not do it and it has been well over 4 years. The World Trade Center is rebuilding now and it makes sense to attack a country while they are trying to rebuild so I know in fact that this urban legend is not true.
